National Protest Against Prop H8

Fight the H8 in Your StateI’ve been feeling pretty disenchanted and disappointed since election day last week, when three states (California, Arizona, and Florida) amended their constitutions to discriminate against gay people who want to get married. I’m also feeling angry and inspired to do something about it.

And so I’ll be joining other Portland folks on Saturday morning at 10:30 as we join together to protest the inequality that continues to pervade this great country. Cities in every state in America will be protesting at the same time on Saturday. Let’s get out and make ourselves heard.

The Portland protest takes place at 10:30am at the Portland State University South Park Blocks.

Since I’ll be at a professional conference that weekend, I’ll do my thing by testifying to the cause whenever I see a chance.

I’m gonna wish you drier weather for the protest.
